A band were formed around Glasgow in 1984 by ex-Altered Images guitarist Johnny McElhone on bass, & featuring Grahame Skinner (vocals), Pim Jones (guitar) and Harry Travers (drums). It were quickly signed higher by Mercury Records and by 1985 had discharged their foremost, eponymously-titled album. a album was a moderate profits in the UK, when the individual Honeythief processed Xvii in a British stock & index charts and as well reached the Top 20 in the The states.
